
Welcome to the site for the Wyggeston Lodge in the Province of Leicestershire & Rutland.
Lodge meetings are held at Freemasons Hall, 80, London Road, Leicester, on the third Friday in each month from October to April.

Lodge Centenary
On 1st July 2010 the Wyggeston Lodge no. 3448 celebrated it's centenary at Freemasons Hall in Leicestershire.
The ceremony was enjoyed by all those that attended and the centenary warrant was preseted to the lodge by the Provinical Grand Master W.Bro David Hagger.

The Lodge was formed and consecrated in 1910 with 34 founders, 19 of which were members of the Commercial Lodge No. 1391 which became it’s Mother Lodge. The First Master was W.Bro. F.W.
Billson P.A.G.D.C.
The Lodge took its name from a famous Leicester citizen, William Wygston. It also took his motto “Date eleemosynam et ecce omnia munda sunt vobis” which translates to “Give freely of yourself and behold all worlds are yours”.
The Lodge was consecrated on Friday 1st July 1910 at the then new Freemasons Hall, London Road, Leicester by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master W. Bro.
Edward Holmes. The warrant had been granted by the Most Worshipful Grand Master H.R.H. The Duke of Connaught earlier that year.
